It recently occurred to us, in the midst of some other profound thought we were having, that Usain Bolt has probably never snapped a photograph in his life.
After all, there's no time to take pictures yourself when you're busy spending most of your free time conjuring up new antics, poses and facial expressions to break out in front of the camera.
We've written in this blog before about Bolt's almost Gump-like (or Waldo'ian, if you prefer) tendency to appear everywhere, but never before have we decisively tackled the subject of what Bolt does when presented with his countless photo opportunities.
Until now, when we present our photographic findings in a gallery entitled "Faces of Usain Bolt" (accessible here, and embedded to the right), in which the world's fastest man breaks out facial expressions ranging from solemn to perplexed, does everything from somersaulting to providing veterinary care for a baby cheetah, and in perhaps the most startling feat of all, wears a Yankees hat and Red Sox jersey in consecutive photos. Staggering.
