The last time I checked in my recovery from shoulder surgery was spot on. My range of motion was good, my strength was returning, and it looked like my AC joint separation was just a bump in the road. Then the X Games rolled into town.

It is finally here. Crazy how you work and prepare for an event for so long and then all of a sudden it arrives. I am on my way to Vancouver for my second Olympic Games.

The last few days since my arrival have been lovely. There is the last-minute hustle and bustle that is to be expected, and everyone has been delightful and easy to work with. I now have my uniform and credential, and all is good.
