Slick suits produce record WRs
Sixteen world records were broken at the Berlin edition of the FINA/ARENA World Cup, which was itself a record for a single World Cup meet. Michael Phelps was unable to win a gold medal in both Stockholm and Berlin, his first meets of the season. We break down the weekend's action and take a look at Phelps' career times. Sutton swims to meet record
Three months after competing in the open-water swimming 5k event at the FINA Worlds, Chloe Sutton returned to the pool over the weekend and left with a meet record. The Mission Viejo distance swimmer registered a time of 16:07.15 in the women's 1650-yard final. Kate Ziegler, who missed Rome with an illness, finished third.
World Cup woes continue
Michael Phelps is still without a gold medal. He swam in the 200m individual medley final on Sunday and earned silver, finishing over two seconds behind winner -- and new world record holder -- Darian Townsend. Is it Phelps' old-school suit? Is he tired from heavy training? Or is it a combination of both? Ten world records fell on Sunday in Berlin.

What's going on with Michael Phelps? After turning in the slowest qualifying time during Saturday morning's 200m butterfly prelims at a World Cup meet in Berlin, he went on to finish fifth in the final. Phelps has one silver and one bronze medal in his first three races of the season.
