• IAAF agrees with Semenya keeping world title Posted Nov 19 6:25a ET By Associated Press South Africa’s government, Caster Semenya’s lawyers and the IAAF have all agreed that the 18-year-old will retain her gold medal, title and prize money. The 800-meter world champion was found “innocent of any wrong” after her gender was questioned and tested after her drastically improved performance at the 2009 IAAF World Championships.
  
• Semenya gender tests not completed Posted Nov 18 10:07a ET By Associated Press The IAAF says the gender tests on South African runner Caster Semenya have not been completed.The governing body had been expected to announce its findings on Nov. 21. The governing body of track and field says it "will not comment upon the medical aspects of Caster Semenya's case. The medical testing of the athlete is still to be completed."

• Race walker Tsoumeleka sactioned for doping Posted Nov 18 6:13a ET By Associated Press The International Olympic Committee sanctioned Greek race walker Athanasia Tsoumeleka for blood doping at the Beijing Olympics. Tsoumeleka, who won gold in the 20-kilometer walk at the 2004 Athens Olympics, finished ninth in Beijing.
• Ramzi stripped of gold medal Posted Nov 18 5:14a ET By Associated Press Rashid Ramzi of Bahrain was forced to forfeit his Olympic gold medal in the men's 1500m from the 2008 Oympics as a result of his positive doping test. Cyclist Davide Rebellin was forced to return his silver medal from Beijing, and Greek race walker Athanasia Tsoumeleka, the 2004 Olympic champion, faces a two-year ban and two-year jail sentence for her positive test.
  
• Clark-Diggs heads USATF Hall class Posted Nov 17 2:55p ET By USA Track & Field During a career that lasted nearly 25 years, Joetta Clark-Diggs was recognized as one of the greatest and most consistent women's 800m runners in U.S. history. The four-time Olympian heads the 2009 USA Track & Field Hall of Fame induction class. She is joined by 1988 Olympic 400m hurdles gold medalist Andre Phillips, long jumpers Willie Steele and Randy Williams and coach Dr. Ken Foreman.
  
• Dibaba sets 15K world record Posted Nov 16 11:40a ET By Wim van Hemert, IAAF In her first road race since 2005, Olympic gold medalist Tirunesh Dibaba shattered the world record for a 15-kilometer road race at the 26th edition of the Zevenheuvelenloop in the Netherlands. The 24-year-old Ethiopian finished in 46 minutes, 28 seconds to shatter the previous mark of 46:55. Her husband, Sileshi Sihine, won the men's race.
  
• Lawyers: Semenya duped into interview Posted Nov 14 12:58p ET By Associated Press Lawyers for Caster Semenya, who has been embroiled in a gender controversy since her 800m victory at the World Championships in August, say the South African teenagerwas tricked into speaking to a reporter from The Guardian. The British newspaper denies the claim and says they were invited to speak to Semenya by her coach.
